I'm Rachel

I'm the owner of Musical Journeys, celebrating over ten years of spreading joy and love through music exclusively in care homes! I provide high-quality musical experiences for residents and deliver expert music therapy sessions designed to uplift and enhance daily experiences and overall social and emotional wellbeing.

Musical Journeys visits homes in Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, North London and surrounding areas! Musical Journeys Unique aproach and deep understanding of the care industry sets us apart from the rest.

How it all started...

Growing up my Mum performed in many shows with her local group and as someone who was also interested in the arts, I went along and got involved too....

The director of the shows loved variety and old time Music Hall songs. I would learn songs and jokes from years ago and they became part of my identity. Every performace had love and laughter at its core and that is something I bring to shows even now. Having this knowledge of older songs means I sing things that perhaps your residents parents or grandparents might have sung to them a long time ago, sparking memories and sharing laughter even today.
