The director of the shows loved variety and old time Music Hall songs. I would learn songs and jokes from years ago and they became part of my identity. Every performace had love and laughter at its core and that is something I bring to shows even now. Having this knowledge of older songs means I sing things that perhaps your residents parents or grandparents might have sung to them a long time ago, sparking memories and sharing laughter even today.
