Use this easy toolkit to discover the music your residents truly love and turn everyday moments into ones where eyes brighten, conversations spark, and joy ripples through the room - no musical talent required! Pop your details below, and I’ll send it right over.

Turn quiet, withdrawn residents into engaged participants, as they start humming, tapping along, and joining in without being prompted.
Ease agitation and restlessness during the day, using familiar music to help residents settle, relax, and feel safe in their environment.
Watch residents light up as they recognise their favourite songs, and feel proud knowing you made that magic happen.
Spark meaningful conversations and memories, as residents begin sharing stories from their past that staff and others have never heard before.
When I first started visiting care homes, coordinators often told me that they loved what I was doing. Other visiting acts played music from the wrong era, or made the performance more about themselves than the residents. The connection, the real magic, was missing.
I’d grown up surrounded by old Music Hall songs, learning them from a wonderful group whose leader adored the Victorian era. Those songs had always felt special to me, but when I began sharing them with older people, I saw something extraordinary. Faces lit up. Memories that had been tucked away came flooding back. Music became a bridge — connecting people to their past, to each other, and to the joy of the moment.
I remember one afternoon singing with a gentleman who had barely spoken all day. As soon as the chorus began, he looked up, smiled, and quietly started singing every word. A carer turned to me and whispered, ‘We haven’t heard him do that in months.’ In that moment, the whole room shifted, people joined in, eyes lit up, and it felt like everyone was suddenly together again.
That’s why I created The Care Home Music Toolkit, to help you create more of those moments.
